About the Elephant

Chobe in Botswana hosts about 130,000 animals, the largest elephant population in Africa, and a sighting there is almost guaranteed. Herds of hundreds cross the river daily, best photographed from a boat. Tarangire in Tanzania is the alternative with East Africa’s highest density.
