About wildlife in Antarctica

Often for a day. Modern ships have stabilisers and the on-board doctor helps. Fly-cruise options skip the crossing.
How cold is it?
Around freezing in summer (December to February), with wind chill to minus 10. Expeditions include a parka and boots.
May I photograph everything?
Yes, without drones and without flash near animals. Tripods may come ashore. The 5-meter rule applies; the penguins ignore it themselves.
Are there whales?
February and March give humpbacks and orcas by the dozen. December and January rarely.
How many passengers is ideal?
